Originally it was dominated by Shias, we can also see some of the historical monuments build by them. There are lots of Imambaras which are waqf nazr-e-Hussain now like Imambargah Jaddan Meer Sahab, Imambara Mazloom Husain Abidi sb., Imambara Arabali Khan, Imambara Nawab Begum (Bada Ghar), Imambara Dilbari Begum & Imambara Hussain Ali etc. All these Imambaras are located in Dariyabad. You can also see a brotherlyhood between Shias and Sunnis as they are equal in population and a good understanding between them.
